Learning Objectives

The course aims to develop the students' ability to understand and create texts at an intermediate-advanced level, corresponding to level N2 of the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). The students will have to be able to employ autonomously the structures analyzed in class, and to use them in order to comprehend a text, translating it accordingly. They will need to be able to read and write the characters explained in class, and to demonstate their written and oral proficiency.

Detailed Course Content

Consolidation of the students' Japanese language's knowledge.

The course will mainly focus on reading and listening comprehension together with translation techniques as to develop a better understanding of the Japanese grammar and syntax and better oral and written production skills. Additional material will be presented in class to ampliate the students' vocabulary.
