Learning Objectives

Introduction to the study of literature as a supranational field of relationship between forms, themes, works.



Detailed Course Content

The course is divided into three parts. The first part presents a general overview of problems and issues of comparative literature with particular attention to the anthropological fundamentals of narrative. The second part involves the historical analysis of the nineteenth century paradigm of the novel. The third part involves the reading of some narrative works of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
