Learning Objectives

The aim is to provide notions, theoretical frameworks and examples of specific debates in order to promote the ability to understand and produce correct and relevant argumentations in the domains of philosophy of language and cognitive sciences.



Detailed Course Content

The course will offer a historical and theoretical review of the main positions in philosophy of language and the main issues in cognitive sciences. Moreover, we will analyse a specific issue within current philosophy of language and cognitive science, that is, the relationship between cognitive pragmatics and folk theory of mind.
