Through the analysis of migration dynamics, the course aims to offer a particular interpretation of territorial reorganisation processes to the students. The Italian case is retraced in its historical phases and encourages the acquisition of skills to operate in a transnational and multicultural context that characterises the current society.

Topics covered include some socio-territorial problems of South Italy and knowledge of logistics networks and projects to enhance the landscape and cultural heritage of Sicily.
