Least square approx. theory, overdetermined systems. Eigenvalues. Power method, Householder and Givens methods. Interpolation theory, Bezier curves, orthogonal polynomials, ENO and WENO methods, trigonometric interpolation. Non linear equations, gradient methods. Seminars on Sparse matrices, Simulated annealing, one-step and multi-step methods for ODE, Conjugate gradient,
