Churches, Religions and Multiculturalism

Learning about the main tools to understand and classify religious phenomena.

Acquiring in-depth knowledge about some concepts strictly and differently related to religious issues in general and to early Christianism, such as: identity, diversity, laity.

A: Religions of the Book (3 CFU)

1. Issues pertaining to the history of religions and methodology.

2. Historical evolution and interactions of contemporary monotheisms.

B: Filmic Visions of the Religious Otherness (3 CFU)

1. Acquiring knowledge to understand religion as a dimension of cross-culturalism.

2. Film and Religions. Film screening and discussion.
