The course aims to deepen the issues concerning the organization of the national archival heritage in its historical evolution as well as the problems relating to the management, use and enhancement of personal archives and of the artist's archives.

The Italian archival public and private heritage examined in its dimension of source for historical research, through the General Guide of the State Archives and the Web portal of the National Archival System.

B. Personal archives and artist's archives, with special reference to the archival funds of the MART.
