Course Structure

The course will mainly take place with the use of lectures supported by the use of power point slides. Study groups will then be activated for thematic insights on the most current European issues.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.




Detailed Course Content

The course intends to guide the student in the knowledge of supranational sources and in the use of the same in order to form a competence in the reading of national sources against the uni-European ones. The evolution of the founding Treaties will be analyzed; the evolution of fundamental social rights and their relationship with economic freedoms; the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union; This in order to highlight the process of communitising Italian labor law The following will be studied in depth: the rules on individual employment relationships, with particular attention to the issues of equality and the prohibition of discrimination, flexecurity, free movement of workers, digitalisation of work (smart working, work with a digital platform), business crisis, managerial skills.
