THE COURSE AIMS TO LET STUDENTS KNOW THE SPECIFIC TOPICS OF INTEREST IN REHABILITATION MEDICINE. THEREFORE WILL CONCERN THE DEEPENING OF THE MAIN TOPICS COVERED BY THE REGULATION, INCLUDING THE FRAMEWORK OF THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF REHABILITATION, REHABILITATION TEAM, REHABILITATION TECHNIQUES IN THE SPEECH THERAPY, FREQUENTLY ASKED PATHOLOGIES.

Clinical and rehabilitative features of the main neurological diseases of interest for speech therapy: disorders of cortical functions (aphasia, agnosia, apraxia); cognitive impairment and dementia; acute cerebrovascular diseases (stroke, cerebral hemorrhages); epilepsy and other disorders of consciousness; traumatic brain injury; Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders; multiple sclerosis; amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other motor neuron diseases; cerebellar ataxia; infections of the nervous system; spinal cord diseases; peripheral neuropathies; neuromuscular diseases.
