The course aims to teach and analyze the Scientific English language to achieve the following objectives:
1) Acquire/consolidate the scientific English grammar and vocabulary.
2) Consolidate the following four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially in the medical, clinical and scientific fields.
The student must acquire a degree of competence in the English-scientific language to achieve a simple but effective interaction in multilingual and multicultural professional contexts; participate in conferences, masters and international internships; elaborate a scientific abstract in English; and, pontentially, study abroad.
The level of linguistic competence expected by the end of the course is the B1 / B2 level of the CEFR.
In order to achieve these objectives, morphosyntactic and lexical, and listening activities will be proposed in the classroom.
