Learning Objectives

Provide students with an up-to-date outline of the trends of contemporary cinema, with particular insights dedicated to the theoretical debate, and to the relationship between cinema and gender troubles.


Course Structure

Frontal teaching with audiovisual support.



Detailed Course Content

The course is bipartite. The first module deals with general issues, with specific references to the contemporary cinematic production. The second module is dedicated to an in-depth analysis of the relationship between cinema and gender identities.
