Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide students with advanced methodological tools to reflect on:

- Language acquisition and specific processes related to modern languages;

- Language Teaching and Metacognitive processes;

- Language Evaluation Processes and Errors related Second or Foreign Language Acquisition.



Detailed Course Content

- Language acquisition therories and theoretical principles of language teaching;

- The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;

- Evaluating linguistic competence:

- How to plan language tests according to different objectives and to different contexts.
