The course is aimed at the acquisition of theoretical knowledge related to methods, contents, current legislation and current issues of geographic teaching, as well as the acquisition of fundamental practical skills (for example: consulting the basic geographical maps, processing data statistics, interpreting landscapes observed in reality or in other iconographic documentation, etc.).

Lectures
The discipline will be carried out trough lectures. Experimental didactic activities are planned in collaboration with the students.
Module A (3 ECTS)
- Cultural geography and territorial enhancement topics: man and resources; cultural heritage, territoriality and identity, authenticity, art traditions, cultural, urban and rural itineraries; sustainable territorial development and planning.
Module B (3 ECTS)
- General, theoretical and practical teaching themes: methods, tools, spaces, verifications, and evaluation of geographical teaching. Reading and interpretation of maps, reading and interpretation of data and statistics, research laboratories through cooperative learning.
