To acquire the concept of the firm, of its classifications and structures, of its working principles and about its conditions for success, analyzing specifically the aspects concerning the management of cultural enterprises.
To provide the analytical knowledge that allows to understand the state of the art as for cultural and creative industries (CCI), considering, in particular, the strategies adopted and that could be adopted at the national and international level to boost the development of the sector in Italy and Europe (Knowledge and understanding).
Students will be able to apply this knowledge originally and critically looking at national and international examples (Applying knowledge and understanding).
To provide the methodological tools useful to apply the knowledge acquired to solve new problems, using a multidisciplinary approach and exercising critical skills. To learn to use information from different sources being able assess critically strategies adopted for the CCI considering their effects for society at large (Making judgments).
To encourage students to express their personal opinions to experts as well as to a non-specialized audience (Communication skills).
To stimulate students to study independently and communicate their ideas clearly (Learning skills).
