Learning Objectives

The course aims at providing students with analytic tools in order to formulate mathematical models and optimization models. The interest focuses on models of predator-prey type and models that govern relationships between humans and environment.



Detailed Course Content

  1. Descrete dynamic mathemtical models.
  2. Differential equations.
  3. Difference equations and recoursive relationships.
  4. Malthus model.
  5. Lotka- Volterra model.
  6. Optimization models.
  7. Linear programming.
  8. Recycling model.
  9. Non cooperative games.
  10. Pollution emission abatement model.
