Bases and subbases. Significant examples of topological spaces. Subspaces. Axioms of countability. Metric spaces. Separation axioms. Continuous functions and their properties. Homeomorphisms between topological spaces. Products and quotients of topological spaces. Compact topological spaces, connected and path-connected.
