The main objective is to provide the student with the skills necessary for the design of educational paths for teaching Plant Biology in schools. In this regard, basic theoretical and practical knowledge of Botany will be provided, as well as the necessary didactic tools aimed at teaching. Particular attention will be paid to language and specific lexical skills, to the ability to apply knowledge and understanding for a correct transfer of contents and to the ability to discuss the topics learned. The didactic approach will be formulated through a theoretical path closely associated with practical activities that can be repeated in the classes.
Lectures and laboratory practice. Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
Plant biology teaching at school and out of school: methods, approaches and aims.
