Expected Learning Outcomes
Graduates in “Obstetrics” must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes of effective and evidence-based management of physiological pregnancy care;
-He Must recognize the needs of the woman in the various stages of reproductive life, of the couple in the social context to which they belong and of the newborn up to the first year of life;
- Must be responsible for providing and evaluating obstetric care that conforms to professional standards of quality and act according to ethical responsibilities as well as the rights of the assisted person;
-Have competence in planning, management and evaluation of obstetric care

Required Prerequisites
The student must use the theoretical and evidence-based knowledge to collect data on the physical, socio-cultural and mental health status of the woman and the family;
- use a variety of assessment techniques to collect accurate data on major health problems;
- analyze and interpret the data collected with the verification of the assisted woman (obstetric diagnosis);
- deliver evidence-based obstetric care to ensure effective and efficient care;
- plan the delivery of obstetric care in collaboration with the assisted woman and with the interdisciplinary care team;
- evaluate the progress of treatments in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
