Teacher: Luca PETRIGNA

Expected Learning Outcomes

Provide students with knowledge and skills to understand the principles governing motor performance and learning. Consolidate notions on cardiovascular training for increasing muscle strength in order to be able to select the type of physical exercise most suitable for the individual. Learn the tools to structure a physical activity plan and assessment. Develop work plans based on the objectives to be achieved, the needs and abilities of the individual. Acquire knowledge on the execution of the main sports gestures and be able to analyze and evaluate the biomechanics that regulate movements.

Course Structure

Lectures, theorical-practical exercises (classroom workshops), cooperative teaching (student-professor) through sharing of teaching material and multimedia supports.

If the teaching is given in a mixed or remote mode, the necessary changes may be introduced with respect to what was previously stated, in order to comply with the program envisaged and reported in the syllabus

Required Prerequisites

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and theory of human movement.

Attendance of Lessons

Mandatory frequency with a maximum of 20% of hours of the total amout (theory and practical lessons)
