The program is carried out with the support of expert tutors in specific areas of the Obstetric-Gynecological Clinic
This program is implemented through meetings whose calendar is formulated by the Presidency of the Course of Medicine and Surgery, and which can be consulted on the School of Medicine website.
The course includes lectures and participation, with discussion of clinical cases. The lessons are based on the use of simple and highly comprehensible teaching support, which results from a PowerPoint set-up
Educational program:
Female genital apparatus anatomy, hypothalamus hypophysis ovary axis, menstrual cycle.
The physiological pregnancy: the fetal appendages, the placenta. Duration of pregnancy: preterm, term, post-term pregnancy
Prenatal diagnosis: first trimester screening, invasive techniques: amniocentesis, villocentesis.
Delivery: mechanical, dynamic, plastic phenomena. Presentation indexes. The distal and twin birth. The operative birth.
Secondary, postpartum and puerperium: physiology and pathology (manual secondary, uterine atony, CID)
Spontaneous and recurrent miscarriage. Thrombophilia. Ectopic pregnancy. The vesicular wheel
Gestational hypertension, gestosis, eclampsia. Epatogestosi. Placental insufficiency. flowmetry
Third-trimester hemorrhages: placenta previa and untimely detachment of normally inserted placenta.

Pathology of the vulva: sclerose lichen, squamous hyperplasia, VIN, vulva carcinoma
Benign pathology of the uterus: uterine fibromyomas, endometrial polyps, endometrial hyperplasia. Changes in the uterus.
Miscarriage. Law 194/78: Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy
Neoplastic pathology of the uterine body: endometrial carcinoma, uterine sarcoma.
