Learning Objectives

The students will achieve a good knowledge of Anglo-American Literature from Puritanism to Transcendentalism (XIV Century to mid-XIX Century), through the analysis of the various literary movements and their main protagonists.

Detailed Course Content

The literary movements and main protagonists of US Literature and Culture from Puritanism to Transcendentalism. A detailed list of authors and texts that the students are required to know will be provided during the course.
