The course aims to provide students with the basic notions of theory and technique of architectural design. The course aims to provide students with a general understanding of the evolution of thought on architecture and project methodologies. The aim of the course is that students acquire knowledge on the history of architectural theories and understand how to use the tools of the project critically.
The teaching will take place with ex cathedra lessons, a monographic course and exercises.
TOMOGRAPHIES. Topographic sections as an instrument of contemporary architectural design
The course aims to experiment with dissecting methods in the practice of contemporary architecture, paying particular attention to the tomographic sections that will be used as a key to re-reading architectural theories in their evolution.
