The goal is to provide the basic notions about linear algebra and geometry of first and second degree.

Detailed Course Content

Cartesian product. Algebraic structures. Groups, rings, fields. Matrices. Vector spaces. Endomorphisms. Diagonalization. Bilinear forms. Scalar products. Hermitian products. Spectral theorem.

Affine spaces. Projective spaces. Linear geometry. Conics. Quadrics.
