Learning Objectives

ANESTHESIOLOGY
The course aims to train the student on the possible anesthetic techniques, on the choice of anesthetic technique based on the patient's criticality and on the surgery to which he/she has to be subjected and on the principles of acute and chronic pain therapy. The course also aims to teach the student the analgesia techniques that can be used in clinical practice.
General and emergency surgery
To obtain basic knowledge on principal surgical emergency diseases: intestinal obstruction, peritonitis, gastrointestinal bleedings and abdominal trauma
DIAGNOSTICA PER IMMAGINI APPLICATA AL SISTEMA
provide students with the basic knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and their applications and clinical indications with particular reference to the professional field of their interest
methodology and in critical rehabilitation techniques
THE COURSE WILL ENABLE STUDENT TO ACQUIRE SKILL IN OSERVATION,EVALUATIONAS WELL THE METHODOLOGIES AND TECNIQUE USED IN THE CRITICAL AREA.

- Preoperative clinical evaluation, properative tests and informed consent
- Sedation scale and drugs
- Phases of the anesthetic proceedings
- Neurological problems in the critical patient
- Delirium in ICU
- Ictus
- Levels of the awareness
- Glasgow Coma Scale
- Brain death
- Emergencies: anaphylaxis, acute respiratory failure, state of asthma, arhytmias, cardiac arrest.
- Simulation Monitoring of vital signs and basic life support
