The course offers some perspectives of sociological analysis on the subject of communication and the relationship between action and communication in complex organizational contexts. Social policies form the basis for investigating the mechanisms of media functioning and the transformation of public action.
The module provides an overview of the regulatory, theoretical and methodological tools available for the analysis of public communication in local administrations, with specific reference to social services. The acquisition of knowledge and skills for the management and interpretation of information related to the communicative flow of specific decision-making contexts is expected. Particular attention will be given to the analysis and interpretation of textual materials and textbooks as a tool for social research. Both technical and theoretical information on the processes that regulate the analytical logic of T-LAB software will be provided.
