RUSSIAN LINGUISTICS AND TRANSLATION

At the end of the course the student will:

Fluently use the contemporary system of the linguistic codes of the the Russian language. Will gain knowledge of different levels of expressivity and linguistic codes of the contemporary Russian language; the course will allow the student to differentiate the units of the language, relying on the stylistic connotations; will understand and get ability to analyze the Russian language in the variety of its functions and forms in a different communicative situation, as well as writing texts according to various linguistic code;

Will develop written and oral language skills using the language of tourism industry; the student will practice exercises aimed to gain a solid general and specific knowledge of the of written and oral texts concerning the Russian language of tourism, juridical, labour market;

Will develop practical communication and comprehension skills through audiovisual translation.
