Learning Objectives

STATISTICS FOR EXPERIMENTAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH
The course aims to introduce the basic concepts of Descriptive Statistics, to learn and acquire skills regarding the collection, description, interpretation and use of probability distributions in an appropriate way of the data collected on a collective of patients or other experimental units.
GENERAL AND APPLIED HYGIENE
At the end of the course, the student will have to know the meaning of health indicators, the general health situation of our country, possess the notions of epidemiological methodology to read and interpret scientific works, know the fundamental concepts of prophylaxis of infectious and non-infectious diseases, have general notions of health organization, planning and economics, communication and health management.
ORGANIZZAZIONE AZIENDALE
Provide basic skills on organizational behavior with particular attention to the application dimension and managerial implications, with a multidisciplinary approach of psychological, sociological and economic matrix.

GENERAL AND APPLIED HYGIENE
Objectives and methodologies of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health. Disease models. Prevention of infectious diseases and chronic degenerative diseases. Risk and prevention factors in living and working environments. Infections related to care. Communication for the protection and promotion of health. Definitions. Communication methods and communication models. The healthcare system in Italy. The evolution of the S.S.N. in Italy. The essential levels of assistance (LEA). The financing of healthcare? in Italy. Corporateization in healthcare ?. Health planning, general aspects, planning phases, National Health Plan (PSN) and Regional Health Plans (PSR) Accreditation. Health management, managerial skills, managerial activities: planning and choice of objectives, negotiating the budget, management control, "clinical governance", promoting quality, efficiency, effectiveness, clinical appropriateness, organizational appropriateness.
