Learning Objectives

Provide students with the main important knowledges of Differential Calculus, Numerical Series and Integral Calculus in view of possible applications



Detailed Course Content

  1. REAL AND COMPLEX NUMBERS. Definitions and properties
  2. LIMITS OF SEQUENCES AND LIMITS OF REAL FUNCTIONS OF ONE REAL VARIABLE. Definitons and main results about these notions. Applications.
  3. CONTINUOUS FUNCTIONS. Definition, main properties, applications
  4. DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS. Definition of derivative. Main properties and main theorems. Applications of derivatives to many concrete problems
  5. NUMERICAL SERIES. Definition and main results about properties of series
  6. INTEGRAL CALCULUS. Riemann Integrability and Definite Integrability. Indefinite Integrals. Connections between definite and indefinite integrals. Improper integrals.
