The goal of this course is providing adequate knowledge and understanding on the following topics: • Physical properties of soils and rocks and laboratory tests. • Technical classification of rocks and rock masses. • Laboratory tests for the determination of the properties of the rocks. • Hydrogeology. • Geognostic surveys in soils and rocks. • Application of geology in the design and construction of major works and in defense of the territory.
