Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide the students with intermediate-advanced Japanese language skills, between the N3 and N2 levels of Japanese Language Proficiency Test, and comparable to the B2 level of the CEFR as regards syntactic skills, oral comprehension and communication skills.



Detailed Course Content

At the end of the course, students should achieve: knowledge of at least 500 kanji and 3000 words of general use; improvement of grammar skills and interpersonal communication skills on topics with a variety of specific contents; knowledge of the variety of linguistic registers (formal, casual, honorific, humble, gender). The course is also aimed to improve reading strategies and comprehension skills, as well as composition and translation skills on specific contents.
