  Knowledge and awareness of the most frequent ocular and orbital pathologies of the anterior and posterior segment, also of neuro-ophthalmological nature, for an adequate qualitative assistance to the ophthalmologist. In Orthoptics and Ophthalmologic Assistance, to have a specialized basic knowledge that allows, in the fastest way, to diagnose diseases - as regards health and health problems, however, patients are no longer preventive clinical diseases for ocular diseases of both the adult and the child.

Detailed Course Content

• Child Neuropsychiatry
  

  The course is aimed to introduce the student to understand the physiological trajectories of development in the child with typical development with respect to those observed in children with developmental disabilities.

  The student will acquire competences in the diagnostic procedure of the most common neuropsychiatric disorders in infancy, childhood and adolescence. He will learn about diagnostic criteria, psychometric evaluation and therapy in different childhood neuropsychiatric diseases.
