DRAMATURGY

The course provides students, who have largely already studied Performing arts, historical-critical and thematic instruments around questions of dramaturgy, with special attention to exchanges of language.

The course is combined in three parts. The module A, theoretical and institutional, deals with general questions of dramaturgy. The module B focuses on the archetype of “personaggia” through three examples about contemporary drama. The module C is an in-depth focus about the relationship between tragedy and melo in the drama works of Rainer W. Fassbinder (according to the directorial gaze of Antonio Latella).
