Il laureato in BCM, con l’insegnamento di LINGUA INGLESE CON ESERCITAZIONI amplia ed approfondisce le conoscenze di base nell’uso della lingua inglese. L'insegnamento si propone di consolidare, potenziare e praticare le competenze linguistiche necessarie per poter comunicare in lingua inglese ma soprattutto di consentire un'interazione critica con il linguaggio settoriale.

Contenuti grammaticali del corso - To be and to have as main and auxiliary verbs. Impersonal statements. - Nouns: countable and uncountable -The simple present: to express states, general truths, habits. -The present continuous: to put emphasis on the course or duration of an action. - The future tense: to signal predictions, intentions and anticipation. - Adverbs and prepositions of space and movement, manner, means and instruments. - Comparative and superlative adjectives. - The possessive genitive: Saxon and ‘of’ genitive in descriptive statements. - Noun phrases, modifiers and qualifiers of nouns and phrases. - Modal verbs: to express mental and/or physical ability, possibility, necessity, probability, remote possibility, suppositions. - The passive voice: present and past tense, by and the agent, agentless passive. - The relative clauses: identifying, non-identifying and reduced relative clauses. - The indefinite article: in definitions, introductions and partitive phrases. - The definite article. - The present perfect: to focus on events and results. - The first, second and third type conditional.0 Contenuti lessicali del corso - Lettura e discussione di testi scientifici nell’ambito della biologia.
