GEOGRAPHY M - Z

The course aims :

• to develop knowledge of the main territorial themes of the contemporany and globalized world;
• to develop the ability to analyze images and graphics;
• to develop the territorial education;
• to express critical opinions on contemporary society.

The course will take place through traditional classroom lectures, in which will be used power point prepared by the lecturer.

Theories, concepts and tools of human geography; relationships between the environment, society and places ; themes and problems on globalization; themes and problems on cities and urban spaces; migratory movements; economic sectors: agriculture, industry, tertiary; sustenible development; territorial education; landscapes and cultural heritages; relationship between landscapes and abandonment.
