Learning Objectives

After an overview of traditional criteria and methods of textual criticism, this course will provide students with knowledge and skills on the electronic text and digital scholarly editing. The main technologies for digital text processing will be introduced along with a brief overview of the main resources available on-line.

A Fundamentals notions of textual criticism (2 ECTS)

B The digital text: theoretical principles and methodological approaches (2 ECTS)

C Digital scholarly editions (2 ECTS)
