Learning Objectives

The student, will acquire, in the linguistic field, a good level of knowledge of the historical formation of the Romance languages, their geographical distribution, the major differences and similarities between them, the linguistic structures that develop in diachrony in the transition from Latin to derived varieties; in the literary field, will acquire knowledge related to the formation of literary genres in the Middle Ages, according to a comparative perspective.

The teaching will take place through lectures and practical exercises in class.
