STORIA E TRADIZIONE DEI CLASSICI ITALIANI

Knowledge of stylistic and material features of the 14^th century Italian poetry and of its manuscript tradition, particularly in relation to Petrarch’s works.

Knowledge of the basic elements of literary lexicography and of the main problems involved in the creation of concordances and data bases related to the 19^th and 20^th century Italian poetry.

The problems and the texts included in this course are strictly connected with the methods and the problems of Romance Philology.

B The last poems of Petrarch’s Canzoniere and the Triumphi: philological problems and textual interpretation (3 CFU).

C The composition of Pascoli’s poems: the manuscripts of Poemi conviviali (1 CFU).

D Literary lexicography, concordances and data bases. Applications to 20^th century Italian poetry (1 CFU).
