Learning Objectives

The course aims to offer an in-depth knowledge of the history of art from the second post-war period to the Sixties, through the study of the major movements, the protagonists of art and art criticism of the time.

Frontal teaching.

Projection of slides, audio and video materials.



Detailed Course Content

The course aims to offer a broad and articulated view of the history of art from Abstract Expressionism to Minimal Art, in Europe and North America. The course will focus on the major events of this phase of Western art, with particular attention to the works of New Dada and Pop Art.
