CHRISTIANITY AND RELIGIONS

Learning guidelines for various methodologies of History of Religions and critical comparative aptitude for different religious contexts.

The course will be mainly based on lectures, giving space to moments of discussion and debate animated by students. The lectures will be integrated by slides and other useful tools to improve the understanding of the proposed topics.

All themes will be developed with sources and studies critical reading.

The materials used (powerpoints, papers, sources) will be made available on the STUDIUM.

Modulo A (4 cfu): History of historical research on religion: from mythology to comparative religions history. Mediterranean religious history in Antiquity and Late Antiquity: from Judaism to Islam.
