STORIA MEDIEVALE

The course focuses on the fundamental events and problems of the Middle Ages, a central period in the formation of European civilisation and identity, with particular attention to the main historical dynamics of the Mediterranean area and Sicily.

Lectures.

During the lessons will be explored critical topics ranging chronologically from the Roman-Barbarian kingdoms to Charlemagne, from the 10th century to the crusade movement, from Frederick II to the 15th century.
