The main learning objective is a full knowledge and understanding of the basic elements of calculus (for more details on the content see below and also: www.dfa.unict.it/corsi/L-30/docenti/fabio.siringo )
Traditional lectures
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.
- Algebraic and trascendental equations
- Elements of linear algebra
- Limits
- Differential calculus
- Integral calculus
Any book is fine. For instance, good italian books are:
Analisi matematica 1 - Bramanti, Pagani, Salsa, Zanichelli + Esercizi di Analisi matematica - Salsa, Squellati, Zanichelli
Elementi di Analisi Matematica Uno, Sbordone, Marcellini + Esercitazioni di Matematica, Sbordone, Marcellini, Liguori
Metodi matematici e statistici nelle scienze della terra, Vol.1, Rosso, Buccianti, Vlacci, Liguori
