The Course aims at attaining a mastery of the field of pragmatics and at developing skills in critical thinking, in communication and in the use of research methodologies. Communication will be approached at a linguistic and cognitive level in different languages. The Course intends to focus not only on the basics of Intercultural Pragmatics and its theoretical developments, but also to provide a methodological toolbox to analyse utterances. |

Seminars
Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
The Course allows students to master the basics of the discipline, such as the process of mind reading and understanding and the concept of literal and non literal meaning. Different theories will be analysed with the aim of attaining a good level of linguistic and pragmatic awareness that can be applied not only to single languages but also to teaching, to inclusion and translation processes.
