ANALYSIS OF TOXICOLOGICAL CHEMISTRY II

CHIM/08 - 8 CFU - Annual Tuition

Teaching Staff

RITA TURNATURI

Learning Objectives

Provide the theoretical and practical tools to perform qualitative analysis of toxic elements, inorganic, metallorganic and organic compounds. The student acquires in the laboratory the skills necessary to perform manual and instrumental analysis.

Course Structure

Didactic methodology

The teaching is divided into lessons and laboratory exercises in single place and in groups. PIT “ in itinere tests ” are foreseen, in the form of short-topic questions or multiple choice tests.

8 CFU of which: 5 CFU of lessons

2 CFU group laboratory

1 CFU individual laboratory

5 CFU 35 hours in the classroom for lessons and PIT.

Laboratory activities

24 hours dedicated to team work

15 hours dedicated to individual work

Learning assessment procedures The exam consists of a written paper aimed to ascertain the knowledge of the proposed topics and the ability to represent the phenomena and chemical reactions subject to toxicological analysis.

Information for students with disabilities and / or SLD To guarantee equal opportunities and in compliance with the laws in force, interested students can ask for a personal interview in order to plan any compensatory and / or dispensatory measures, based on the didactic objectives and specific needs. It is also possible to contact the referent teacher CInAP (Center for Active and Participated Integration - Services for Disabilities and / or SLD) of the Department of Drug Sciences and Health, Prof. Teresa Musumeci
