Learning Objectives

Knowledge of the theoretical processes underlying the phenomena of communication; sociological characteristics of mass media; knowledge of modern approaches to the sociology of cultural processes; multidisciplinary analysis of the technological imagination.


Course Structure

The course takes place essentially in the form of frontal lessons, with extensive use of tools for student involvement: questions for the verification of concepts, collective discussion of crucial cases, digital tools for involvement and participation.



Detailed Course Content

Mass communication theories, technological and sociological characteristics of digital media, main authors and concepts of the Sociology of cultural and communication processes, multidisciplinary analysis of a TV series with technological content.
