History of French Language

We will define the language reflection, during the Eighteen century.

We will then examine modern and contemporary French language peculiarities.

Lectures.

We will examine the Eighteen Century language, from the Encyclopédie, the Liaisons dangereuses of Laclos, the Mariage de Figaro of Beaumarchais the revolutionary theatre and Le père Duchesne of Hébert. We will then define the rhetoric of french and francophone modern and contemporary literature.
