Know the main theoretical structures and the research practises of the Intercultural pedagogy; estimate the advantages and problems of multicultural societies; evaluate programs which support Intercultural dialogue in different educational contexts; plan training programs aim at appraise the difference in multicultural contexts.
To acquire intercultural pedagogical knowledge and skills in the context of early childhood education; to be able to adopt educational strategies to promote inclusive processes from an intercultural perspective in today's heterogeneous and multicultural contexts.
The course will be delivered through a combination of active learning strategies in addition to the traditional teaching methods. These may include group discussions, student pair work, collaborative activities, debate and other peer learning and assessment activities.

Epistemic figures and evolutionary lines of the Intercultural pedagogy; multiculturalism, Interculture and educational processes; the "stranger" between xenos and hostis; ethics of tolerance and the pedagogy of hospitality; culture, dialogue, pluralism and cooperation referring to educational processes in multicultural societies; The process of social integration and its problems with regard to educational policies; intercultural training of the experts in education.
The workshop aims at experimenting with educational approaches and good practices for intercultural pedagogical planning in childhood contexts.
