Learning Objectives

Sistematica filogenetica delle spermatofite
In-depth knowledge of plant systematics. Knowledge and classification of plants. Understanding of the main mechanisms of the evolution, through the examination of some relevant biological phenomena such as adaptation, genesis and disappearance of the species, diversification, ecological specialization, co-evolution, biogeography. Reconstruct the evolutionary relationships existing among the main plant clusters
LABORATORIO DI SISTEMATICA DELLE SPERMATOFITE
Acquire knowledge and tools for the deepening and identification of the main families of Spermatophytes. The course, by means exercises, observation and analysis of the morphological and reproductive characteristics of the plants and field surveys, will provide the necessary elements to understand the aspects related to plant diversity and classification criteria.
