ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The course aims at providing knowledge on the four fundamental competences (listening, speaking, reading, writing) of B2 level, with additional references to scientific language.

The course includes lectures and practical sessions.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.

Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Current affairs topic will be dealt through the analysis of tests and audio-visuals of interest for the students. Practical activities, in the form of writing and speaking, related to the language abilities will be further proposed in order to strenghten the grammatical knowledge of the English language. Secondly, particular attention will be posed on the scientific language in order to improve the sectoral languange learning.
