LINGUA ARABA

Students will acquire adequate theoretical and practical knowledge in order to create Educational programsand decode the verbal and iconic language of arabic editorial texts. The course aims to achieve an adequate level of language proficiency, both written and oral, as well as a deep comprehension of the cultural and historical features of arabic language.

Students will be able to analyse arabic texts and to communicate in different contexts. Moreover, they will be able to examine critically the different cultural and sociological aspects of the applications of the Arabic language.

Students will be able to interact with arabic speakers of different linguistic level in structured contexts or in emergency situations by acting as cultural and linguistic mediators.

It is through the acquisition of a study method that students will be able to increase by themselves their level of knowledge and proficiency in arabic language. They also will be able to put their abilities of critical interpretation into practise, for the creation of cultural and interdisciplinary projects, by means of the most advanced technological tools.

Teaching will take place through lectures, participated lessons and group activities.

• reading, analysis and translation of literary texts.
