The course aims to provide adequate knowledge and understanding of geodynamic processes active in distinct tectonic contexts through the use of velocity vectors.
Acquisition of ability to perform geodetic surveys with GNSS and Total Station receivers of topographic elements in areas affected by tectonic deformation.
Active tectonics: the goal is obtained by the analysis of crustal architectures in distinct active tectonic domains, by the collection of several information provided by different geological, geophysical and geodetic subjects; furthermore, the course provides the technics to analyse surficial and deep information, characterization of local and remote stress field and their relationship, and modelling of geodynamic contest.
Photogeology: the course provides skills useful to the correct management of territorial aerophotogrammetric survey. Students will gain the skill to deal with geological themes through the application of morphostructural technique.
